It's Yours to Keep Forever

Linus has a blanket that's all his very own,
It comforts and sustains him when he's feeling all alone.
He knows others love him for 'twas made with special care
And because it means so much to him, its carried everywhere.
You too can have a blanket that was made especially for you
To comfort and support you when you're feeling kind of blue
Its yours to keep forever so you may always know
That others out there love you and to you our wishes go

We are recruiting new blanketeers from our communities. Are you crafty? Do you love kids? Can you make a blanket? We need your help to serve more DelMarVa children. Project Linus of Lower DelMarVa serves hospitals and other child related agencies in Accomac and Northhampton Counties VA, Somerset, Worcester & Wicomico Counties MD, and Sussex Co DE. We also deliver blankets to AI duPont in DE. We recruit our volunteers from the counties mentioned.

We spend our time with family and friends, and put away our sewing machines for a few days. We know in our hearts that even at Christmas, there will be children in crisis, receiving our blankets. In our own special way, we can brighten a child's day, especially on a day where something else was planned, something much more fun.
